Fashion World

We are located in the main market of Ambikapur, right near Deviganj Road. If you are from Chhattisgarh, you probably know how busy this area gets, especially during the festival seasons when the streets are packed. Fashion World isn't a huge store with a dozen employees. It’s just a few of us here every day, doing what needs to be done. We spend most of our time rearranging the shelves and talking to the regular customers who come in to see what is new. Being near Deviganj Road—actually, it feels like everything around here is near Deviganj Road—means there’s constant noise from the street. There are horns honking and people shouting, but that’s just the charm of being in the main market. Our shop is in an older building that has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit steep and the floorboards creak. We don’t have a big management team or a fancy website. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes by. Sometimes we spend half the afternoon just chatting with neighbors while we sort out the new stock that arrived on the morning truck. It’s a simple way to run a business. We try to keep things honest and straightforward for everyone. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we like the cozy feel of the place. We don’t have a mission statement. We just want to make sure the shop stays open for the local people. It’s a practical life, and we are happy.
