Asian Granite

We are located near the Aqua Hotel Lane in Sundernagar. The address is 2 4 642, which is easy to miss if you aren't looking for the stones. There is always a lot of dust here because of the granite. We spend most of our time moving these heavy slabs around. You have to be careful with your feet and hands because everything is heavy and hard. People come by to look at the different patterns in the rock. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights. It’s mostly just the slabs leaning against the walls or sitting on frames. The sun hits the stones in the afternoon and you can see the true colors then. We talk to contractors and homeowners all day. Sometimes we have to explain why one piece of granite looks different from the other, even if they came from the same place. It's just how nature made them. We use water to keep the dust down and to show people how the stone looks when it is polished. The lane near the hotel gets a bit crowded with traffic, so moving the big trucks in to load the granite is always a bit of a struggle. We’ve lived with that for a while now. It’s a honest day's work, and by the time we close up, we are usually covered in stone dust and ready for a wash.
