Our place, Speedfam (India) Pvt. Ltd., is over at B-87 in the Additional Ambernath Industrial Area. It’s part of the Midcjambhivali section in Anand Nagar. It’s quite a trek to get out here sometimes, but this is where all the industrial action is. The facility is set up for the kind of work we do. It’s not a small shop, but we try to keep a regular, down-to-earth atmosphere among the staff. We’ve got machines running and people checking measurements throughout the shift. Ambernath is a big hub, so there’s always a lot of coming and going in the Anand Nagar area. We mostly stay focused on the technical side of things. It’s a lot of routine, honestly. Checking the setups, making sure the parts are right, and then doing it all over again. We don't really have a big marketing team or anything; we just exist at this address and do our jobs. The building is a standard industrial shed, functional and sturdy. We’ve been in this spot for some time, and we’ve seen the area change a bit, but the work stays the same. It’s about being consistent. It’s a lot of manual coordination to keep the schedules on track, especially when a machine needs some quick maintenance. When the whistle blows at the end of the day, we head home and then come back to do the same thing tomorrow. It’s just how the industry works out here in the MIDC.
