Silica Industries

We are located in the Udyog Bhavan - 2 building, specifically in K-1, I-Wing, unit 111. This is in the Anand Nagar area of the Additional MIDC in Ambernath East. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of activity around us. You’ll hear machines running and see trucks loading up at all hours. Our unit is basically a workspace where we handle the industrial processes for Silica Industries. It’s not a place meant for guests, really, just a practical floor where the work gets done. We have some machinery and a small corner partitioned off for the desk work and the telephone. The walls are a bit stained from the work we do, and there’s always a faint smell of materials in the air. We’ve been operating out of this MIDC area for several years now. It's convenient because most of our suppliers are just a few blocks away. We don't have a big HR team or anything; it’s just the owner and a few workers who know the process inside out. Sometimes the power cuts in the afternoon can be a bit of a bother, but we just wait it out and get back to it. It’s a straightforward industrial job and we don't try to make it seem like anything else. We just focus on the production and keeping the machines maintained daily.
