Our office and work area is at Plot No F9 in the Addl. Ambernath Ind. Area, which is part of the MIDC in Anand Nagar. Being in Ambernath East means we are surrounded by other factories and industrial sheds. Applied Optical Technologies Pvt Ltd has been here for a bit, and the location suits what we do. It’s a lot of industrial landscape out here, so it’s not exactly a scenic spot. We spend the day dealing with optical tech, which sounds complicated but for us, it’s just the daily routine. The workshop floor is where most of the action happens. It’s usually cleaner than a typical factory because of the equipment we use, but it still has that industrial feel. The commute out to Anand Nagar can be a bit of a stretch for some of the staff, but once we’re here, it’s all about the work. We have a few offices for the paperwork, but they are pretty basic. No one here is really bothered about having the latest office furniture. We just want stuff that works and keeps the equipment safe. The midday heat can be tough in this part of the industrial belt, so the fans are always on. We aren't doing anything flashy. We just focus on the technical details and make sure things are going out the door correctly. It’s just how life is in the MIDC.
