Aditi

Aditi is my little shop located at G/4 in the Shreekailash 'A' building, which is part of the Shivdham Complex on Shivaji Path here in Ambernath. I have been running this place for a few years now. It is just a single room on the ground floor where I keep all the items I sell. I mostly deal with clothes and some small accessories that people in the complex like to buy. It is a quiet spot for the most part, except for the evenings when everyone is out walking around. I spend most of my day sitting here, waiting for customers and tidying up the shelves. The shop is not very big, so I have to be careful about how much stock I bring in at one time. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once trying to look at things. Ambernath is a nice place to have a business because you get to know all the neighbors after a while. I usually have a tea with the shopkeeper next door during the slow hours in the afternoon. I do not have a big staff, it is mostly just me and sometimes my cousin helps out when I need a break. We do not have any fancy decorations, just a few racks and a mirror in the corner for people to use. People come in to browse and we just have a chat about the day. It is a simple life running a small shop like this. I just like being my own boss and seeing familiar faces every day.
