We are located in Asopur, over in Ambedkar Nagar. If you’re trying to find us, just look for the Mpc Power Office because we are right near there. It’s a bit of a landmark for everyone in this part of town. The school isn’t anything too special to look at from the outside. It’s just a solid building with a gate that’s seen better days. We get a lot of dust from the road, especially in the dry months. The morning assembly is probably the loudest part of our day. You can hear the kids all the way down the street. We don’t have those huge manicured lawns you see on TV. Our playground is just a flat patch of ground where the kids play football or just run around until they’re tired. The teachers here are just regular people, some have been with us for years and know every family in the neighborhood. We don’t talk much about things like missions or visions; we just try to make sure the lessons are done by the time the final bell rings at three. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we manage. Life here is simple. We know the shopkeepers nearby and they know us. It’s a local school for local families, and we don’t try to pretend to be anything else. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized, but we always manage to sort it out before the day ends. It’s just how it goes here in this corner of Ambedkar Nagar.
