VSPL is located right on Chhoti Devkali Road in Ayodhya, which is a place with a lot of history and energy. Our address is actually tied to the family home of Dwarika Prasad Chaturvedi, near the Raghavram Mandir. Being so close to a temple means there is always something going on outside, like the sound of bells or people walking by on their way to pray. It is a very traditional part of town. The office itself is quite modest. We haven't changed much about the building over the years, preferring to keep it the way it has always been. It’s a bit of a maze with narrow stairs and small rooms, but it works for what we do. In Faizabad district, things can get pretty crowded, and our street is no exception. We deal with the usual power cuts and the heat by just working through it. Our days start early because the town wakes up early. There is a lot of tea drinking and talking with neighbors between the actual work. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find glass walls or modern art. Instead, we have wooden desks and old cabinets filled with records. It feels honest and connected to the local community here in U.P. We just do our bit every day and keep things running. It’s a quiet life despite all the activity outside on the street.
