Rmv Brick Field

We have been running Rmv Brick Field out here in Village Jivdharpur for quite a while now. Most people find us through the Post Mijwara area because that is where the main road leads. It is not a very complicated business. We just take the earth and turn it into bricks that people use to build their houses. The work is mostly seasonal. When the rains come, everything slows down and we spend a lot of time just waiting for the ground to dry up again. It gets very dusty here during the summer months, and you can see the red dirt on everything. We have a small group of guys who have lived in the village all their lives. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high because once it hits midday, it is almost impossible to stand near the kilns. We don't have a big office or anything like that. It’s just a small room with a desk where we keep our ledgers. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the mud if the path isn't cleared properly after a storm. We don't spend much time on fancy things. We just focus on getting the stacks right and making sure the fire stays at the right heat. It is a slow way of life, but it keeps us busy. People around Jivdharpur know where to find us if they need a load of bricks for a wall or a small room. It’s just how it goes here.
