We are set up at Door Number 1 in Ward Number 13, over in the New Colony part of Ambedkar Nagar. It’s a quiet enough area, mostly houses and some small shops here and there. Our office isn't very big, but it serves our purpose perfectly fine. We started this because we wanted to have a place where people in the neighborhood could handle their money matters without having to travel too far into the main city. It’s just a few of us working here. We handle the filing, the cash entries, and the member registrations. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, and we spend the whole afternoon just getting through the stack. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy; you just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the desk. It’s a very direct way of doing things. The New Colony is a good place to be. We know most of the people living in Ward 13 by name. When someone walks in, we usually know why they are there before they even speak. We try to keep things honest and clear. If there's a problem with an account, we sit down and work it out until it’s fixed. No one here wears a suit and tie. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. It feels more like a community spot than a big financial institution sometimes, and we are okay with that. We just keep working away.
