Eco Car Spa

You can find us at Shop No.10, right across from the Old Turning Point Hotel. Being at Hutatma Chowk means there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around. We are situated next to Bapna Motors. Eco Car Spa is where we spend our days washing and cleaning vehicles. It’s a lot of water, soap, and scrubbing. The floor is almost always wet and we are usually wearing rubber boots. It’s not a glamorous job but we just get on with it. We see all kinds of cars coming in, some really dirty and some just needing a quick rinse. We just use our hands and the machines to get the grime off. Sometimes there’s a line of cars waiting out front on the road. We try to work as fast as we can without missing the spots. The sun can get pretty hot at Hutatma Chowk, so we appreciate the shade of the shop. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with coffee. People usually just stand around or go for a walk while we finish. It’s just a local car wash. We’ve been here at Shop No.10 for a while and the regulars know where to find us. It’s a simple routine of spraying, scrubbing, and drying. We just do the work and move on to the next car in line. It is messy work, but someone has to do it.
