Vohra Medilab

Vohra Medilab is situated in Sector 20, Panchkula, and we also end up serving a lot of people from Chandigarh since it’s right there. Working in a lab means our day is mostly about blood draws and testing samples. It’s a lot of technical work but we try to keep it straightforward for everyone who comes in. People usually arrive early in the morning before they go to work to get their tests done. We see a lot of people from across the sector. Since we are on the border of both cities, it stays pretty active. The lab isn't huge, but we have the equipment we need to get the jobs done. We spend most of our time looking at slides or typing up results so people can take them back to their doctors. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been doing this in Sector 20 for a long time. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when there’s a flu going around. We don't do anything flashy. It’s just a place to get your health checked and move on with your day. We try to be quick so no one is stuck waiting too long. Living and working around Panchkula and Chandigarh has its own pace, and we just fit into that daily flow as best as we can. It’s a small team here, but we manage to stay on top of all the reports.
