Vedanta Group (Hindustan Zinc Limited)

Our office is right here in the Grain Market area of Ambala Cantt. It’s 5299/1 on Cross Road No.4. If you know the market, you know it gets loud and busy with all the trucks and traders coming through. We handle stuff for Vedanta Group and Hindustan Zinc from this little corner. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes with all the files and the desks crammed in. Ambala is a transit hub, so things move fast around here. We usually start the day with some local tea and check the mail. It’s not the kind of place with air conditioning in every room, but we get by. We’ve been at this address for a good stretch now. Everyone in the Grain Market knows us by now. We aren't doing any big marketing stuff. Most of our work is just keeping records straight and making sure the zinc side of things is handled. The floors are a bit worn out from all the walking back and forth between the back room and the front. It’s just a regular workplace. We don’t have a front desk person or anything, you just walk in. The noise from the market outside is always there, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s a practical setup for what we do. We like being right in the middle of the action in Ambala. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done for us. We are just part of the local neighborhood scene.
