Haryana Khadi Gram Udyog

We’ve been running the shop at No. 1451 in Sector -9 Urban Estate for a while now. It’s a quiet spot most days, but we stay busy enough with the khadi and village industry stuff we handle. People in Haryana know the name, though we just focus on the daily tasks here. The building isn't anything fancy. It’s just a regular place where we keep the stock and talk to whoever drops by. Sometimes the weather gets hot, and the fans just keep spinning while we sort through the bundles of cloth or look at the production schedules. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty for a website. It’s more about the actual work. You can find us right there in the Urban Estate area. There's a lot of space around here, which helps when we have larger shipments coming in. We try to keep things organized, but honestly, it gets a bit messy when we're in the middle of a big order. That's just how it goes with this kind of business. My cousin usually helps out with the ledger, and I take care of the people coming in. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same. It’s a simple life, really. Just making sure the khadi products get to where they need to go and that everything is accounted for at the end of the day. We don't have any big signs or anything. People just find us by the address. Sometimes we sit outside on the stools when it’s nice out.
