Unique Exports

Unique Exports is located in Model Town. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood compared to the industrial zones, which we like. The building we are in is quite old and the paint is peeling a bit near the windows. We’ve been here for a long time. My uncle started this place in a small back room and eventually, we took over the whole floor. We do export work, mostly sending small items to people in other countries who can't find them locally. It's a lot of packing and tape. You can always hear the sound of packing tape being pulled off the roll in our office. It’s the main sound of our workday. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us sitting on a crate eating lunch or filling out customs forms. The paperwork can be a real pain, especially when the rules change, but we just deal with it. We don't have a website that looks professional or anything like that. Most people find us because someone else told them we get things where they need to go. We like being in Model Town because it’s close to where we live, so we can walk home most days. The big tree outside our window gives some nice shade in the afternoon when it gets really hot. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the boxes are labeled correctly.
