Site Engineer

My name is Raju and I work as a site engineer. I do not really have a big physical office with a sign out front that everyone sees. Mostly, I deal with people through my email, Raju_072007@Yahoo.Co.In. It is a bit of an old email address, but I have had it since 2007 and it is how everyone reaches me. Being a site engineer means I am usually on a construction site anyway, so a fixed address does not matter as much as having a phone and an internet connection. I handle the technical stuff on the ground. I check the levels, look at the materials, and make sure things are moving along. Since I do not have a storefront, I spend my time traveling between different locations. It is a lot of driving and walking through half-finished buildings. If you send a message to that Yahoo account, it goes straight to my phone. I try to reply when I am not standing in the middle of a noisy site. People sometimes ask why I do not have a proper office address listed, but for the work I do, my boots and my laptop are my office. It is a simple way of working. I have been doing this for years now. I do not need a fancy desk to get the job done. I just need the plans and the email to stay in touch.
