Shalu Arts

We are set up on the top floor of House Number 15 in Swastik Vihar, which is over in MDC Sector 5 of Panchkula. It is a bit of a walk up the stairs to get to us, but the space we have there is perfect for the kind of art and creative work we do. Since we are on the top floor, it stays a bit quieter than the street below, which helps when you are trying to concentrate on a specific project. Even though our base is in Panchkula, we spend a lot of time serving the Chandigarh area because it is just a short trip away. The studio is usually filled with all kinds of supplies, from paints to different types of boards and fabrics. It isn't the most organized place in the world, but it has everything we need to bring ideas to life. We don't really follow a strict corporate schedule. If a job needs to be finished, we stay late until it’s done. People often come to us by word of mouth because they saw something we made for someone else in Swastik Vihar. We don't do much in the way of promotional stuff. We just like making things and we are glad that we can do it from this little spot in MDC Sector 5. It is a simple life of making art and hoping people like what we have put together. Sometimes we just sit and sketch for hours.
