Raj Clinic

Raj Clinic is located in vill. Talheri Gujran, near the Thakur pura post office in Barara, Ambala. This is a small place where we deal with the daily health issues of people living around here. It’s not a big fancy building with glass doors. It’s just a simple room with some chairs and a desk where we sit. In the morning, we open the shutters and sweep the floor before anyone arrives. You can see the fields from the door. Most people who come here are our neighbors or people from the nearby farms. They come in for coughs or if they hurt themselves working. We have a small cupboard for supplies and a fan that makes a bit of noise on high speed. Ambala weather gets very dusty sometimes, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the shelves. We don't have any big staff, just us doing the work every day. It’s a quiet life most of the time, except when the village gets busy during harvest. We know the families around here, and they know where to find us. If you are looking for Thakur pura, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a local spot and we like keeping it that way. We stay open until the evening when the sun goes down and then we head home ourselves. It’s just the way things go here in Talheri Gujran.
