Our workshop is at 102 in the INDUSTRIAL ESTATE. It’s a straightforward place where we handle Punchi Hand Tools. The estate is a bit worn out, with some cracked pavement and old gates, but it’s where we do our work. It’s noisy because of the metalwork going on around us. We have a few benches, some heavy machinery, and a lot of hand tools scattered around. It’s not a place for people who are afraid of getting grease on their clothes. We start work early and finish when the light starts to fade. There is a small sink in the corner where we wash up, and a tiny stove for making tea. We don't have a big HR department or a marketing plan. We just make tools and see that they get where they need to go. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We talk about the weather, the local news, and the work at hand. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living. We’ve known some of the other workers in the estate for decades. We help each other out with tools or advice when something breaks down. It’s just a regular industrial unit doing its thing every day without any fuss. The loading dock is always a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. That’s just the way we like to run things here. It works for us and our neighbors.
