Double R Optics & Scientific Works Care Of Star Laboratories

Double R Optics & Scientific Works is located over at 73 Preet Nagar. We share the space with Star Laboratories, so it’s a bit of a mix of different things going on under one roof. We’re near Raja Park on Jagadhri Road, out in Khudda Kalan. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, but it’s quieter out here, which helps when you’re working with delicate scientific glass and optics. We’ve got benches covered in tools and pieces of glass that we’re working on. It’s not the cleanest looking place because there’s always a project in the middle of being finished. We’ve been at this for a long time, and some of the equipment we use is probably older than I am. But it still works, so we keep using it. People around Preet Nagar know us as the guys who are always tinkering with lenses. We don't really have a big sales team or anything like that. If the phone rings, one of us wipes our hands and picks it up. Most of our day is spent looking through eyepieces or checking measurements. Sometimes we get a bit of dust in the workshop, so we have to clean everything down twice a day. It’s just part of the routine. We like the neighborhood, even if the road gets a bit muddy when it rains. We just keep our heads down and get the scientific instruments ready for whoever needs them next.
