You can find Partap Industries Ltd. over on Hissar Road. It’s a pretty large spot, mostly because of all the heavy equipment we need for the daily work we do. We’ve been operating out of this specific area for a very long time now. The building has seen better days and maybe it needs a new coat of paint on the outside, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. We make things here. It's usually quite loud, and there’s usually a bit of smoke or steam drifting around depending on what machines we’re running that day. The guys working on the floor really know their stuff. Most of them live nearby in the neighborhood and have been with us since we first started out. Hissar Road is a good place for a factory like ours because the big trucks can get in and out easily, most of the time anyway. Sometimes the heavy rain makes the front yard a bit of a muddy mess, but we manage to get through it. We aren't trying to be the biggest or most famous company in the world. We just want to get the orders done and out the door on time. We spend a lot of our time on maintenance because these machines are getting old and they like to act up when you least expect it. It’s a lot of grease, noise, and heavy lifting for everyone involved. We keep our old coffee pot going all day in the small office near the entrance. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work.
