Nn Jewellers

We have a shop right opposite Bal Bhawan. It is a busy spot with lots of kids and parents always walking around the area. Nn Jewellers has been here for a bit, and we mostly handle gold and silver items for the local families. It is a small shop, so you cannot miss us if you are looking at the buildings across from the park entrance. We have a couple of glass counters where we keep the rings, chains, and bangles. It isn't a big showroom with security guards at every door, just a normal local jewelry store. We do a lot of repairs too, like fixing broken clasps or resizing rings that don't fit anymore. People bring in their old jewelry to get it cleaned or polished up for weddings and parties. My uncle usually sits at the main counter most of the day. We don't do much advertising; we just rely on the people living in the neighborhood. They trust us because we have been around for a long time. Sometimes it gets really crowded during the festival season, and everyone is squeezed into the small space trying to look at the new items. We keep some water for the customers and a few stools for them to sit on while they look. The lighting inside is very bright to show the gold clearly, but that is just how jewelry shops are. We weigh the gold and show the price, and that is all.
