Niranjan Pershad Jai Gopal is situated in the Old Anaj Mandi area. We’re quite close to Dokhamba Chowk and right near Police Post No. 1. This part of town is always full of activity, especially with the market nearby. You can hear the noise of the vendors and the carts all day long. Our place is simple and reflects the history of the mandi. It’s an old neighborhood, so things aren't always perfect. The streets are narrow and sometimes it gets quite muddy when it rains. We’ve been operating from here for a long time, and we know most of the people around. It’s a community where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don’t have a modern setup or fancy signs. It’s just an honest workspace where we handle our daily affairs. We start early in the morning when the market opens up. There’s a lot of coming and going, and it can be a bit overwhelming for someone not used to the mandi life. But for us, it’s home. We deal with the heat in the summer and the crowds during the festival seasons. It’s just the way it goes here. We focus on our work and try to stay organized amidst all the external chaos. Being near the police post is a bit of a landmark for anyone trying to find us. It’s a practical location for what we do. We like being right here in the mix.
