Nerolac Paints Limited

Up in Ambala Cantt, we’ve got our spot at 39 A Tagore Garden. Nerolac Paints Limited has been part of this area for a good while. The shop is filled with rows and rows of paint cans stacked up to the ceiling. It has that specific smell of fresh paint and chemicals that you just get used to after a few days. We spend a lot of time helping people pick out colors, which is harder than you’d think because everyone has a different opinion. The Tagore Garden area is mostly quiet, but we have delivery trucks coming in and out which keeps things lively. We have a small counter where we do all the mixing and the paperwork. It’s often covered in little splashes of color from the machines. The floor is a bit stained too, but that’s just how it goes in a paint shop. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a practical store where you come in, get what you need, and head out. Sometimes we sit and talk with the regular painters who come in for their supplies. They usually have some good stories to tell. We just try to keep the stock updated and make sure we don’t run out of the popular whites and greys. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the local community here in Ambala. We just take it one day at a time and keep the shelves full.
