Navnirman Helping Hand Foundation

We are based out of Village Abdulgarh, specifically at Kaserla Kalan in Ambala. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from the area, but we like the quiet of the village. Our foundation started because we saw that a lot of people in the rural parts of Ambala weren't getting the same kind of help as people in the bigger cities. We focus on small things that make a difference, like helping farmers understand new rules or getting basic supplies to families that are struggling. The office is just a simple building that we’ve patched up over the years. It has a tin roof that gets very loud when it rains, making it hard to hear anything else. We don't have a lot of modern equipment. Most of our records are kept in big notebooks. It’s a very hands-on way of working. We spend more time out in the fields or in people’s houses than we do sitting behind a desk. We aren't trying to be a big national organization. We just want to make sure the people in Abdulgarh and Kaserla Kalan have someone to turn to when things go wrong. It’s a slow life here, but the work is important to us and the people who live around here. We’re just local folks helping other local folks out as best we can. We try to keep things practical and straightforward for everyone.
