About Morni Resorts – Hotels, Motel & Resorts in Ambala
We have been up here in Morni Hills for a good while now. The resort is situated pretty close to Tikkar Tal, which is where most people head when they visit this part of the world. It is usually a bit quieter up here than down in the city. Our days start early because the birds get quite loud outside the windows once the sun starts coming up. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy and making sure the garden area looks okay. It gets pretty misty in the mornings sometimes, especially during the monsoon months, and you can hardly see the road. We have a small team here. Most of us live nearby or in the surrounding villages. We don't have fancy office systems; it is mostly just us writing things down in a ledger and taking calls when the signal is good enough. Sometimes the power goes out if there is a big storm, but we have a backup generator to keep things moving. We try to keep the food simple, mostly local stuff that we like to eat ourselves. It is a long drive up the winding roads to get here, so we usually tell people to take it slow. There is a lot of walking involved if you want to see the lake properly. We spend our afternoons mostly prepping for the evening or just sitting out when it is quiet. It is just a regular place run by regular people who like the hills.
