Medilab Exports Consortium

Our setup at Medilab Exports Consortium is located at 17, Hsidc, Industrial Estate. It is a large area where a lot of heavy trucks move in and out all day long. We focus on getting lab equipment ready to be sent out to different places. There is always a lot of tape and bubble wrap being used. The warehouse floor is cold in the winter and quite dusty in the summer. We spend a lot of our time checking lists and making sure the right labels are on the right crates. It isn't a fast-paced environment in terms of shouting, but we move a lot of volume. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of computers that have seen better days. We drink our coffee while looking over the shipping schedules. Sometimes a container gets delayed and we have to shuffle things around in the yard. It takes some physical effort to move the larger pieces of equipment around. We wear heavy boots because you never know what might drop on your toes. The industrial estate has a rhythm to it that you get used to after a week or two. We just make sure the crates are packed tight so nothing moves around while it is on the road or a ship. It is steady work and it keeps the lights on. We don't have a big sign out front because the address is enough for the drivers. Most of our day is just moving things.
