Astar Scientific Instruments

Our place is Astar Scientific Instruments over in Machhi Mohalla. If you know Ambala Cantt, you know it gets quite busy around here. No. 6100 isn't a grand building, just a workshop where we keep our tools and parts. There’s always a faint smell of solder and grease in the air. We’ve got tables covered in glass bits and metal components. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in small screws and wires. We aren't the type to wear suits or have big board meetings. Most of the time, our hands are a bit dirty from working on a piece of equipment. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see what we are doing on the benches. It’s a quiet kind of work, focused on fixing things or putting them together. We’ve been in this neighborhood for ages now. People know us as the guys who are always tinkering with something. The front door sticks a bit when it rains, and we keep meaning to fix it but never get around to it. There’s a lot of precision involved in what we do, even if the office looks a bit disorganized to an outsider. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy logo on the wall. It’s just us at the bench, making sure the instruments work the way they should before they head out the door. It’s just how we do things here.
