Laxmi Driving School

Our school is based at SCF 42 in Sector 8, Panchkula. We’ve been teaching people how to drive around here and in Chandigarh for quite a few years. Sector 8 is a good home base because the roads are wide enough for beginners but still have enough traffic to make it a real test. We have a small office where we keep the schedules and the car keys. It’s a no-nonsense operation. We don’t have a fleet of luxury cars, just standard ones that are easy for a learner to handle. Each day starts with checking the oil and the tires. We meet our students at the office or sometimes we pick them up if they live nearby. Driving is one of those things you just have to do over and over until it becomes a habit. We try to be patient because we know how it feels to stall a car in the middle of an intersection. The weather in Panchkula can be hot, so we appreciate the shade when we can find it during a lesson. People come to us from all over the area because they want a teacher who won't yell at them. Sector 8 is a quiet enough place to start, and we’ve seen hundreds of people learn to steer their first car right here in front of SCF 42. It’s a good life being an instructor, even if the summers can be a bit much when you're in a car.
