Lamba Confectionery

You can find us at House No. 1924/3, right across from the Ambala Cantt Bus Stand. It is a very busy spot because of all the travelers and buses coming through all day long. We have been here for a good while, serving sweets and snacks to anyone who walks in the door. The shop is often full of the smell of sugar and whatever we are making in the back that morning. It can get a bit loud with the bus horns and the crowds outside, but we are used to it by now. We spend a lot of time behind the counter, packing boxes or cleaning up after the lunch rush. It is just regular people working here, making sure the glass cases are filled with fresh stuff for the day. Sometimes we run out of the popular items early, and that is just how it goes. We do not have any fancy machines, just traditional ways of doing things that have worked for us for a long time. Being near the bus stand means we meet people from all over who are just passing through for a few minutes. We also have our regulars who live nearby and stop in for their usual treat every afternoon. It is a small space but we make it work. The floors get swept a dozen times a day because of all the foot traffic. We just try to keep things simple and honest for everyone.
