You can find us over at 27-B in Tribune Colony, which is a fairly quiet part of Ambala. Being in Haryana, we get all kinds of weather, from the freezing winters to the really dusty summers. Our place is basically a big room filled with ceramic tiles of all sorts. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure nothing got damaged during the last shipment. It is a lot of lifting, so we stay pretty active. Customers from around Ambala stop by to see what we have for their kitchens or bathrooms. We don't try to push anything on anyone. We just show them the stacks and tell them the price per square foot. It is a simple way of doing things. Sometimes people bring their kids along, and we have to make sure they don't run into the sharp edges of the tile displays. The address is easy enough to find if you are familiar with the colony. We have been here for a bit, so we know the neighbors and the local rhythms. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We just drink our chai and wait for the next person to walk through the door. If someone needs a specific color, we go look in the back. That is pretty much how our days go. It is steady work and we enjoy seeing the different projects people are working on in their homes.
