Parkash Sons

We are located at No. 1590 in Kacha Bazar, which is one of those places that stays active from early morning until the sun goes down. Parkash Sons has been part of this street for a while, and we’ve seen the shops around us change many times over the years. Our place is basically a big room full of stock and a counter where we talk to customers. It’s not a quiet environment because of the market noise outside, but that’s just part of being in Kacha Bazar. We deal with various items that people in the trade need, and we try to keep enough on hand so nobody leaves empty-handed. Sometimes the inventory gets a little messy when a big shipment arrives, and we have to spend the afternoon sorting through boxes. It’s just me and a couple of others working here most days. We don't use any fancy systems, just our ledgers and a good memory of what’s in the back. Customers appreciate that they can just walk in and have a real conversation with us instead of dealing with a machine or a big corporate office. We know the regulars by name and we know what they usually look for. It’s a basic business, but it’s what we know how to do. The floor is a bit worn down from all the walking, but the roof doesn't leak and we have enough light to work by.
