About J.S. Exporters – Building & Construction Material in Ambala
Being based in the Industrial Area of Ambala Cantt means there is never really a quiet moment at J.S. Exporters. Our unit is at Plot 90, and it’s a spot we’ve called home for many years now. The morning usually starts with the sound of the shutters going up and the smell of diesel from the trucks waiting to be loaded. Ambala is a busy hub, and being in the Cantt area keeps us on our toes with all the movement around. Inside our space, things are usually piled up with whatever we are sending out that week. We don't have a team of people in suits; it’s mostly just a few of us in work clothes making sure the counts are right and the boxes are sturdy. Sometimes the tea stall guy down the road brings over a few cups while we are mid-task. The floors are concrete and a bit worn down, but they’ve held up well. Dealing with exports means we have to stay on top of the clocks, even when things get hectic in the yard. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit around, just one that gets the shipments out without a fuss. It is a lot of manual work and checking lists twice. When the sun starts to set over the industrial sheds, we usually wrap up the last of the logs and head out.
