You can find us over on Nicholson Road, right near the Akash Hotel at 6275/22. It’s an old building, and we’ve been here long enough that the walls could probably tell a few stories. Jambu Pershad & Sons is basically a family affair. We’ve grown up around this business, learning the ropes from the older generation. Our daily routine is pretty straightforward. We get in, check what needs to be shipped, and deal with whoever walks through the door. The area around Nicholson Road is always moving, so there’s never a quiet moment. We deal with a lot of different items, and our storage space is always a bit of a puzzle to navigate. It’s not a shiny showroom. It’s a working office and warehouse where things actually get done. We don't use fancy computers for everything; sometimes a notebook and a pen are just faster. When someone calls, they’re usually asking for something specific, and we spend time digging through the shelves to find it. It's practical work. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and that we’re doing right by the people who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes we sit and have tea while waiting for a truck to arrive. That’s just the rhythm of our day here. It's how things have always been for us.
