Jain Scientific Glassworks

Jain Scientific Glassworks is situated at 14 Industrial Estate. It’s a place where things are always a bit hot and bright because of the torches we use for the glass. We’ve been making scientific glassware at this location for many years. The workshop is full of specialized tools and racks of glass tubes waiting to be shaped. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to run around, as there’s glass everywhere you look. We aren't a high-tech facility with sleek glass walls; it’s a gritty, practical workspace with benches that have seen a lot of use. The guys here have been doing this for a long time and they know exactly how to handle the material. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or sales teams. Most of our customers are labs or educational institutions that have been buying from us since the beginning. The industrial estate itself is quite old, and we like the feeling of being surrounded by other people who are also making things with their hands. Mornings are our most productive time before the sun gets too high and makes the workshop even hotter. We just focus on the orders we have for the day, whether it’s a simple beaker or something more complicated. It’s steady, careful work that requires a lot of concentration. We don't have much to say beyond that; we just make the glass and try to keep it from breaking.
