Hkn Automotive is right on Railway Road. If you’ve ever walked or driven down that road, you know it’s always got a lot going on. The sound of the trains passing by is something we’ve just grown used to over time. We set up shop here because it’s a central spot where people can easily find us. We mostly deal with car repairs and keeping local vehicles in decent shape. Our garage isn’t huge, so we have to be careful about how we park the cars so we don't block the sidewalk. There’s always a bit of grease on the floor and a stack of old tires in the corner. We don't have any fancy waiting rooms with coffee machines. Most people just stand around and chat for a bit while we take a look at their brakes or change their oil. We’ve seen all kinds of cars come through here, from old beaters that barely run to some newer models that just need a quick fix. Railway Road is a good place for a business like ours because there’s a constant flow of people. We don't bother with big advertisements or anything promotional. We just keep the doors open and take the jobs as they come in. Sometimes the work is slow, and we just sit outside and watch the traffic, but usually, there’s enough to keep us busy until dark. We’re just local mechanics doing what we know how to do best.
