We are located right here at H No 1 on Lohgarh Road in Ambala. It is a busy spot and the traffic never really stops moving outside our front door. Most days we are just busy keeping things organized and dealing with whatever comes our way. The air gets a bit dusty because of all the vehicles passing by on the main road, but that is just how it is in this part of Haryana. We have been in this building for a while now and everyone knows the landmark. It is a basic setup with enough space for what we do. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoons and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. You can see the sign from quite a distance when you are coming down the road. Inside, it is mostly stacks of things and a few desks where we handle the paperwork. It is not a fancy place but it serves the purpose. We usually start quite early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. By midday, the heat really picks up and the fans are always running at full speed. People stop by to ask directions sometimes because we are right on the corner of the road. It is just a normal day-to-day operation here with the usual local staff. We keep the gate open most of the time so people can see we are in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get around to it.
