About Defence Engineering Works – Medical & Healthcare in Ambala
Our shop is tucked away at Plot No. 11 in Raja Park. It’s a place where there is always the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of a machine running in the background. Defence Engineering Works isn't a huge factory, but we have enough space to get our projects finished. When you walk in, you’ll probably see some grease on the floor and a bit of dust on the workbenches, which is pretty normal for an engineering place. We spend our days measuring parts, cutting steel, and making sure everything fits together the way it is supposed to. Sometimes we get orders that are a bit tricky, and we have to sit down and draw things out on scraps of paper to make sense of it. The guys here have been doing this for years, so their hands are pretty rough but they know how to handle the tools. Raja Park is a decent area to be in, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street outside. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit or anything like that. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just wipes their hands on a rag and says hello. We just like to get our work done and go home to our families. It’s honest work, and it keeps us occupied. Every day brings a different part to fix or a new piece to build from scratch. We just take things one job at a time until the day is over.
