Carewell Instruments

The building is No. 3378 on Guru Nanak Marg, not too far from Pul Chameli. It is an older part of the area, and the streets can get a bit narrow when the vegetable carts are out. At Carewell Instruments, we work in a space that feels like it has been there forever. There are wooden cabinets filled with glass gauges, brass fittings, and all kinds of measuring tools. The floors are made of old stone and stay cold even in the summer. We spend a lot of time calibrating things and making sure the needles point exactly where they should. It is quiet work that requires a lot of patience. Outside on Guru Nanak Marg, you can hear the honking of rickshaws and people calling out to each other. Being near Pul Chameli means we are easy to find, but parking is always a headache for anyone visiting. We keep a small stove in the back to make tea and warm up our lunch. The desks are heavy wood and have stains from years of use. We don't have any flashy signs, just a small board near the door. The air is often a bit dusty because of the old buildings around us. We mostly deal with local people who have been coming to this street for decades. It is a slow-paced environment where we take our time to get the instruments right.
