B.D. Instrumentation

We are located at 36, Pragati Vihar, right behind the big B.D. Flour Mills. You can usually hear the hum of the mills in the background while we’re working, which becomes a sort of white noise after a few hours. B.D. Instrumentation is a small operation, and we like it that way. Our building is a simple structure, nothing too fancy, with a small yard where we park the scooters. Inside, it’s mostly benches covered in tools and various measuring devices we are working on. The air smells a bit like dust and old metal sometimes. We’ve got a few windows that look out onto the back of the mill, and during the rains, the road out front gets a bit muddy. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find one of us at a desk or tinkering with something. It’s a quiet part of the area compared to the main road, which is nice when you need to concentrate on fine details. We take our lunch together mostly, sitting on the stools and talking about the news or the cricket scores. It’s a steady pace of life here. We just focus on getting the instruments calibrated and out the door to the people who need them. The days go by pretty fast when you have a lot of small parts to look at.
