Batra General Store

It's been a while since we opened up here at Scf 23. Most people in Sector 23 know us just for the regular things they need every day. We keep the shelves filled with stuff like pulses, soaps, and those little snacks kids always want. It’s not a huge place, but it gets the job done. I usually spend most of my morning checking what ran out yesterday and making sure the new stock gets put away properly. Dealing with the distributors is a bit of a headache sometimes, but that is just part of the business. My brother helps out in the evenings when it gets a bit busier. We see the same faces every day, which is nice. You get to know what people like and what they don't. Sometimes someone comes in just for a chat while they wait for their groceries to be packed. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It's just a regular shop where you can find your basic kitchen supplies and household items without much fuss. The parking outside can be a bit of a mess during the rush hours, but people manage. We try to keep things organized so you aren't searching forever for a packet of salt or a bottle of oil. It is just a simple life here in the store. We open early and close once the last few customers finish their shopping. That's pretty much how it goes every day at Batra General Store. I think people like that we are consistent.
