Being in Punjab Mohalla in Ambala, things are always a bit active around here. We are located right near the Ganesh Mandir, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. Most people in this part of Haryana know that Ambala is the place for scientific instruments, and our small setup is right in the middle of it. The workshop is usually filled with various glass pieces and metal components waiting to be assembled or packed into boxes. It’s not a very quiet place because there’s always the sound of someone packing things up or moving crates around. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The humidity in the summer can be a bit much, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the work. You can hear the temple bells throughout the day, which is actually quite nice when you’re busy with mundane tasks. We don’t have any big corporate signs or a polished reception area. It’s just a workspace with tables, tools, and a lot of finished products stacked up near the door. Sometimes the neighbors stop by for a chat while we are loading the tempo for a delivery. It’s a very local feel here. We just try to get the orders right and make sure everything is packed securely before it leaves the mohalla. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down.
