Baby Couture

We operate out of House No. 288 in Sector-16. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the main markets. Running Baby Couture from a house feels different than a mall. We use the space to keep all the little clothes organized. Most of our day is spent sorting through boxes or answering the phone. Since we are in a house, it feels more like a home than a shop. People sometimes get confused when they see the gate, but once they come in, they see all the baby stuff everywhere. Sector-16 is a nice neighborhood with lots of trees. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us. It’s not a huge operation. It’s just a few of us making sure everything is folded and ready. We don't have a big neon sign out front. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of trouble parking on the narrow street, but we manage. Inside, it smells like new fabric and maybe a bit of tea from the kitchen. We have shelves lining the walls from floor to ceiling. It gets a bit crowded when a new shipment arrives. We usually spend the afternoons packing orders for the next day. It’s a practical way to run things. We like the quiet pace here compared to the downtown rush. If the door is open, someone is usually there working at a desk or checking the inventory in the back room. It is just a simple house where we get our work done every day.
