Our office is in the Jain Temple Building, which is located in Dal Mandi. We use Post Box No. 37 for our mail. The building is right there in the heart of the market area, so it is always very lively from early morning until the shops close up at night. You can hear the sounds of the vendors and the shoppers while we are working. The temple is right nearby, which gives the whole area a specific kind of feel, especially during the festivals. Our particular spot in the building is simple. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of paper. It is not the kind of place that would impress a designer, but it serves its purpose for us. The hallways in the building are a bit dark and sometimes the elevator is slow, so we just take the stairs. Most of our day is spent answering calls or writing down notes on whatever needs to get sent out. We don't have any decorative plants or art on the walls, just some calendars and the basic equipment. It’s a very functional space where we focus on the work at hand. We like being in Dal Mandi because everything we need is just a short walk away. It’s an honest place where we have spent many years now, just keeping things moving along.
