Asst Engineer

Panchkula, Sector 15. 2828 is the house or office where I work. I’m an Asst Engineer here. It's just a regular spot for us. Not much to look at from the outside, really. We spend most of the day dealing with files and the occasional site visit when something needs looking at. Sector 15 is a decent area, usually quiet enough to get some thinking done, though the traffic picks up in the evenings. The office is tucked away. It's not a big glass building or anything fancy. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of blueprints and maps lying around. Sometimes people drop by looking for directions or asking about local projects. We try to help out when we can, even if it’s just small talk about the weather or the roads. It gets quite hot in the summer, so the fan is always humming in the background. My desk is a bit of a mess right now with all the paperwork from the latest project. I’ve been meaning to clear it, but something always comes up. Life in Panchkula is steady. You get to know the neighbors after a while. Most of the time, I’m just focused on getting the measurements right and making sure the reports are filed properly. It’s practical work. No big speeches, just making sure things stay on track. If you’re ever around Sector 15, you’ll see our door at number 2828.
