About Aditya Flour & Spices – Food & Beverages in Ambala
Our business, Aditya Flour & Spices, is located right in Chauta Bazar, near the Markandeshwar Temple. Being in the bazaar means it is always noisy and full of people. We’ve got a small shop where we grind flour and mix up spices for whoever walks in. The sound of the grinding machines is something you never really get used to, but it means work is getting done. We started this place because it’s what we know. My father did it, and now I’m doing it too. We don’t have a fancy office or any corporate structure. It’s just a counter, the machines in the back, and bags of grain stacked up against the walls. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, and we have to spend half the morning cleaning up. We don’t use any fancy language to describe what we do. We grind grain and we sell spices. It’s as simple as that. The temple nearby brings a lot of foot traffic, which is good for us. We have regulars who have been coming to us for years. They don’t come for a "customer experience," they just come because they know our flour is okay. We just try to keep things honest and keep the machines running. It’s a hard way to make a living sometimes, but it’s ours. We usually shut the shutters around eight in the evening.
