Will Work

The office for Will Work is at SCO 4684/2 on Cross Road 10. It’s a bit of an older building, and you can tell by the way the doors shut and the way the floors look. The address is easy to remember, which helps when we are telling people where to find us. Inside, it’s mostly just a few workstations and a lot of coffee mugs scattered around. We aren’t big on fancy meetings or long presentations. We just get to the point and handle the jobs as they come in. The street outside is usually busy with people moving back and forth, and you can hear the sounds of the road all day long. We have a small window that lets in a bit of light, but we mostly rely on the overhead tubes to see what we are doing. The walls are a neutral color that’s faded over time. There’s a shelf in the back that is overflowing with old files and bits of hardware that we might need one day. It’s the kind of place where you can feel that actual work happens. We don’t try to impress anyone with a sleek lobby or a receptionist. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. It’s a very hands-on environment for us. We like the grit of this area and the fact that everyone around here is just trying to get through their to-do list.
