R. L. Package

We operate R. L. Package out of the ground floor at 751/3 in Sikligar Mohalla. It’s a bit of an old building, but it suits what we do. As the name suggests, we handle packaging stuff—mostly boxes and tape and materials for people moving things. The space is filled with the smell of cardboard and adhesive. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most days. We don't have a big showroom. Most of our work happens on the large table in the middle of the room where we cut and wrap things. Sikligar Mohalla is a tight-knit place, and we’re lucky to be part of it. The street outside is narrow, so we usually have to carry the big rolls of plastic or stacks of boxes in by hand from the main road. It’s physical work and my back feels it by the end of the day. We don't have a corporate strategy or anything like that. We just try to help folks get their items packed up safely. Sometimes the neighborhood kids run through the shop, or a neighbor stops by to borrow a roll of tape. It’s a casual environment. We aren't trying to grow into a massive company; we just want to keep doing what we do well. If the shop is a bit messy, it’s because we’re busy working. That’s just the way it is here at the ground floor in the Mohalla. We keep a radio playing in the corner to break the silence while we work.
