R. K. Instruments

R. K. Instruments has its home at No-25 in New Dayal Bagh. We are situated in the Ambala Cantt area, which is part of the larger district. Ambala Cantt has a very specific feel to it, and New Dayal Bagh is a part of that community we’ve become very familiar with. Our building isn’t new, but it’s sturdy and gives us all the room we need for our instruments. We spend our days surrounded by tools and various measuring devices. It’s a bit of a niche business, so we don’t get a massive crowd of random people, but the folks who do come in usually know exactly what they are looking for. We’ve kept the shop pretty simple. There are shelves lined with various pieces of equipment and a workbench where most of the real work happens. It’s often a bit noisy with the sounds of people working, but that’s just how it is here. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is a nice change from some of the busier parts of the district. We’ve lived and worked around here for a long time, so we’ve seen the area change bit by bit. Even so, the way we handle our instruments hasn't changed much. We just focus on being careful and making sure everything is handled the right way. It’s a steady kind of life, and we like the routine of opening up the shop at No-25 every morning and seeing what the day brings us.
