Our place is located at 954, Hori Ki Mandi. If you know the Mandi area, you know it gets quite lively, especially in the early hours. At OPTICALSWALE.COM, we spend most of our time looking at frames and lenses under the bright shop lights. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the display cases, but we make it work. Usually, there’s a stack of eye exam forms on the counter and a few tools sitting out for when someone needs a screw tightened on their glasses. We don't have any big speeches to give. We just help people find something that fits their face and doesn't fall off when they lean over. The street outside is always full of people moving around, so we get a lot of dust drifting in if we leave the door open too long. Most of us here have been working with glasses for years, so we can tell a good frame from a flimsy one just by touching it. It’s not the quietest office in the world, but it’s ours. We usually eat lunch in the back room while discussing which new styles are coming in next month. It’s a simple routine of checking prescriptions and making sure the glass is cut right. Sometimes a customer stays to chat for a while after they get their spectacles, which is always nice. We just keep things moving along day by day without making a big fuss.
